UK Shipping

All customers located in the UK will be offered the option for Royal Mail Tracked 24® shipping at checkout. This provides: tracking to delivery point; photo on delivery; SMS or email notifications to recipients; and the ability to change your delivery options before delivery is attempted.

Royal Mail aim to deliver Tracked 24® parcels within one working day after dispatch, however if parcels take longer to arrive then we are not responsible for this.

We will aim to dispatch orders within one working day after receiving an order, between Monday and Thursday, however cannot guarantee this in every case. Orders made from Thursday afternoon onwards will be dispatched the following week. 
 

Shipping costs are dictated by Royal Mail, based on the cost for a small parcel; we add a small surcharge only to cover the cost of packaging materials (e.g. boxes, labels, insulation and/or water ice packs). We charge a flat rate for shipping and therefore absorb the incremental shipping cost of larger orders (where total weight is above 2kg and/or a larger box is needed).

There is a minimum order requirement (set at £8 at time of writing) for shipping to be made available.

Certificate of proof of posting can be requested from us via email (info@millardfood.co.uk) within 7 days of making an order. 

Local Delivery & Super Local Delivery

We aim to provide a cheaper (and typically faster) alternative to UK wide shipping for customers living in close geographical proximity to our company’s headquarters in Consett, County Durham. If a customer’s delivery postcode falls within a local or super local delivery zone, they will be made available to choose alongside Royal Mail shipping at checkout. These deliveries are made by us and will be arranged with the customer beforehand via phone, email or direct message.

We reserve the right to add, remove or modify local delivery zones.

Depending on the size of the order, local deliveries may or may not come in a box, and will not come with insulation or water ice packs. Chilled produce will be kept cool in transit if the journey is more than 20 minutes in duration.
